It’s been a busy month here at Karri. With 4th term now in full swing, we’ve been working hard at HQ to make sure your school collections are running like a well-oiled machine. This month, many new schools have joined the Karri family, some of these including St John’s College, Brighton Beach Senior Primary, Dunvegan Primary, Kronendal Primary, Umhlali Preparatory and Paarl Girls High School.
This month, the Karri team have been networking at some of the top education conferences around Cape Town.
Eduweek Cape Town brings together the industry’s leading suppliers within the education sector. We had the chance to interact with like-minded people and gain insights into the latest trends within the field including; digital disruption, interruption and sustainable implementation to name a few! We met with many schools from all over the country and realised that there is a need for a cashless payment alternative in every school across the country.
SABISA (Southern African Bursars of Independent Schools Association) conference takes place once a year and aims to promote financial efficiency among schools. Karri accompanied by our fellow EdTech innovators, School Advisor (who are an innovative company which helps schools make better purchasing through an online platform that brings schools and suppliers together) got the opportunity to meet clients of whom we’d only prior spoken to over the phone, finally putting a face to a name. We had the chance to talk to schools outside of South Africa including schools from Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho. We’re looking forward to working with more schools in the near future!
Our bright and bubbly Niki from the Karri team is heading on a rather LARGE adventure to Singapore on Sunday to represent us at the EdTechXAsia Conference. EDTechxAsisa is a leadership platform which drives solutions within the education sector. We’re hoping to showcase Karri to the EdTech community! Keep up to date with Niki and her Asian adventure on Instagram and Facebook.
